Martha and I are having so much fun preparing for our First Friday Art Opening Event. We both have lots of new work to display. We hung the show on Tuesday – it took us 4 hours! But we enjoyed every minute of it! It’s almost a meditation to decide where to put what…and the paintings seem to know where they want to go, and tell us the moment we make a wrong move. I’ve said it before, but it is so much more fun to have a buddy to be doing this with – THANKS Martha!!!

Oh yes, and notice that red DOT by the painting of the tree…Yes my friends, that painting has been sold! My dear hosts from my music tour in March, from Montreal, Susanne and Peter – they visited earlier this week and purchased “Light” one of my fav’s…I admit it was a little hard to let go of her but I know she’ll be in good hands and I have been assured that I can visit her any time I’d like to! Hmmmm, maybe during the Montreal Jazz Fest next year!! Peter and Susanne graciously let me keep her through the end of July (for the borough show) when I will see them again and deliver the goods.
I am thrilled that these dear people will have this work in their home – may it bring them more “Light”!
