Yes well, I do like changes! So I am trying out this new look for the blog. I have been busy getting my sons arrangements for college - AKA – financial aid! Uggh – it’s a lotta $ – As well as preparing for a family member who will be having surgery tomorrow…Amidst “waves of worry” over the last few days, I managed to remind myself that all is well…All is as it is and I can go with it and accept it or I can, alternatively, suffer.
Sometimes it really is just a question of remembering that I have a choice in the matter, in terms of my experience. I don’t always have control (very rarely in fact) over what happens in my life, but I DO have some say in how I relate to these events, how I think about them and therefore, how I experience them.
So the next few days, I will be consciously “choosing” to accept what is, and “choosing” to be in it, with it, and know that that is perfect, that I am up to the task, whatever it might be…
Ok, it is confirmed…just as I wrote that last sentence, a gorgeous monarch butterfly – the only one I have seen here all summer, flew past my window. I had to grab my camera, and run out to catch a shot of the little critter for you.
Magic is afoot – but then, it always is, it’s just a matter of being aware of it…
